We will discuss the innovation process from ideation to commercialization in medicine with experts in all areas of the innovation process. Participants will be able to distinguish basic tenets in the process of ophthalmic innovations, recognize recent innovations in the field and will be introduced to the latest and cutting-edge treatment options for glaucoma, cataract and retina diseases in an effort to improve patient care.
Objectives
Distinguish basic tenets in the process of ophthalmic innovations
Recognize the recent innovations in the field of ophthalmology
Describe the process of innovation from a fund raising and regulatory perspective
Discuss latest cutting- edge treatment options for glaucoma, cataract, and various retina diseases
