Ryan-Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation Endowed Presidential Chair. Dr. Ferrington is recognized internationally for her ground-breaking research on age-related macular degeneration (AMD)\, the leading cause of blindness among the elderly. Prior to starting at Doheny in May 2022\, Dr. Ferrington was a Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences at the University of Minnesota. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Jeff Ruderman\, CFP\, is a Senior Vice President\, Wealth Strategist for Capital Group Private Client Services\, where he advises on wealth planning\, including wealth transfer\, charitable giving\, and strategies for private business owners.
