PASADENA, Calif. — Doheny Eye Institute has announced that construction is underway for the new Doheny Eye Center UCLA location in Pasadena, California. The center will be housed on the first floor of the seven-acre Doheny Eye Institute campus, bringing the research arm of Doheny Eye Institute and the patient care offered at the Eye Center under one roof. According to the announcement, the new eye center, which is scheduled to open in early 2025, will elevate the patient experience with 36 fully equipped exam lanes, two in-office procedure rooms, three advanced laser and injection rooms, and three certified clinical research lanes.
In addition, a central imaging center will house more than 20 state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging devices as well as a dedicated electrophysiology lab, and a dedicated pediatric ophthalmology suite will focus on the care and treatment of children’s eye diseases and conditions.
