At Doheny, discovery begins in the lab and quickly moves to the patient’s bedside. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are able to bring leading-edge research directly to those who need it most.

We invite you to join us on Monday, April 20, for a special Ask the Doctor conversation with SriniVas Sadda, MD, FARVO, Director of Artificial Intelligence & Imaging Research at Doheny Eye Institute and Professor of Ophthalmology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Sadda will discuss the latest advances in age-related macular degeneration (AMD), including how artificial intelligence is transforming the way physicians diagnose, monitor, and personalize treatment. He will also share practical guidance to help patients and families better understand today’s care options and have more informed conversations with their physicians.

Dr. Sadda holds the A. Ray Irvine Jr., MD, Endowed Chair in Clinical Ophthalmology, and his research — supported by multiple National Institutes of Health grants — is helping shape the future of retinal imaging and vision care worldwide.
